We have a number of clients operating in the
telecommunications sector and as such have developed this
area into something of a specialism. The types of business
we advise include:
- Wholesalers and retailers of cellular products
- Exporters and importers
- Airtime and Internet providers and dealers
Over the last two years, we have been able to
assist in the negotiation and administration of bespoke financing
facilities, to fund the often-substantial VAT refunds arising
for exporters to the EU and further afield.
In addition, given the proliferation of
fraud in this area, we are regularly advising clients to ensure
that they do not fall into some of the numerous traps which
exist. This includes use of our specialist knowledge in the
preparation of records, the vetting of potential suppliers
and customers, and pre-transaction advice, thus removing the
potential for serious and damaging future VAT charges.
