Former Senior Officer of H M Customs & Excise, and qualified Chartered Tax Advisor, experienced in dealing with an extensive range of businesses. These include complex property and international clients, telecommunication companies and charities. Additionally, provides VAT and duties consultancy services to a range of professional clients, including firms of accountants and solicitors. Also, regularly contributes to a number of tax publications, produced by the IBFD in the Netherlands, which are circulated worldwide.

Personal interests

Married to Pam, with three children, four dogs and an assortment of other animals. In what time remains, hobbies and interests include gardening, aviation (holds a private pilot’s licence), astronomy & cosmology, geology and campanology.
